t3rn is a smart contract hosting platform that offers an innovative solution to interoperable smart contract execution with fail-safe mechanisms built in, meaning successful multi-chain execution can always be guaranteed. Smart contracts stored in the t3rn registry can be used by anyone, while the developers that contribute smart contracts to the open-source repository can choose to get remunerated anytime their code is executed. This offers a new vision of open-source development, one that fairly rewards developers.

Built with Substrate, a Gateway can be integrated to provide reversible execution of Smart Contracts using Escrow Accounts and providing necessary proofs execution, storage and transfers.
Q4 2021

Circuit

Circuit implements protocol features outlined in whitepaper and works on semi-decentralised PoA premises. This enables building solutions with t3rn, as the on-chain repository and its underlying hosting is implemented.
Q2 2022

Polkadot Parachain

Circuit works on decentralised PoS premises - community members can take active roles as validators and execution agents, t3rn will then be  ready to become a Polkadot Parachain.
