t3rn Integrates Flow

t3rn is expanding its cross-chain settlement network to Flow, unlocking ultra-efficient TRN-enabled execution on one of the most scalable and developer-friendly blockchain infrastructures. TRN is now deployed on Flow at 0xC5195B74d6D5176efc5eB940B07f02Dc3fA8d5d5, enabling seamless on-chain settlement, incentives, and coordination within the Flow ecosystem and beyond.

Why Flow? Performance, Composability & Cost

Flow offers a cutting-edge multi-node architecture that separates consensus, execution, verification, and collection roles—a design optimized for high throughput without compromising decentralization. This allows Flow to target up to one million TPS, with consistent finality and composability across smart contracts

EVM compatibility on Flow brings powerful benefits:

  • Ultra-low transaction fees (≈ $0.000179 per txn)

  • Sub-second (~0.8s) block times, improving UX and confirmation speed

This all combines into a uniquely efficient EVM execution platform—ideal for t3rn’s low-friction cross-chain settlement layer.

Cost Breakdown – Flow

Initial observations on the settlement costs with Flow are very promising. We’ve limited the first settings of the protocol fees to the minimum, adjusting the percentage costs of execution to an approximate maximum of 0.01% of the value transferred.

We’re setting the initial gas price limit taken into calculating the executor’s fees & protocol fees for fail-safe claims and refunds as follows:

Interpretation:

  • Gas cost per tx is effectively zero—in the nanodollar range.

  • Protocol fees (~$0.00375) are modest and dominate the cost when scaled.

  • Both are vastly lower than conventional gas expectations on EVM networks, reinforcing Flow’s economic efficiency.

Executor Setup for Flow + TRN Support

No changes are needed in your executor logic. The transmitter architecture used by it supports both transaction types. Simply enable Flow and its native asset with:

  • export EXECUTOR_ENABLED_NETWORKS="t3rn,optimism,binance,linea,base,arbitrum,flow,unichain,hyperevm"

  • export EXECUTOR_ENABLED_ASSETS="eth,bnb,trn,flow,hyper"

Once updated, your executor is ready for Flow-based settlements and seamless TRN/FLOW asset handling.

Key Takeaways

  • Flow is ultra cost-efficient for t3rn cross-chain, with gas effectively free and protocol fees under a cent—making Flow an extremely compelling network to settle on.

  • Predictable and minimal costs unlock novel execution models like real-time settlements or per-order finalizations without cost overhead.

  • Flow’s architecture and EVM compatibility bring compounding benefits: Stellar throughput, low cost, composability, and developer familiarity—supercharging t3rn’s cross-chain infrastructure with Flow’s performance.

Stay in the Flow!

We are excited to roll out t3rn 2.0, a ground-up redesign of t3rn’s cross-chain execution and bridging stack that replaces trust-based coordination with a cryptographically verifiable, trustless execution model. Powered by the new LiquidityWellCompact architecture, which unifies order management, escrow, and liquidity into a single gas-optimized contract, t3rn 2.0 makes cross-chain transactions significantly cheaper, faster, and more reliable. With automated retries, stronger liquidity incentives, and backward-compatible, composable APIs, t3rn 2.0 moves cross-chain execution closer to being a simple, predictable infrastructure primitive rather than a fragile special case.

We’re happy to announce Lucky Bunny, our NFT PFP drop celebrating community, interoperability, and a bit of luck in the t3rn ecosystem. Inspired by the Lucky Cat and t3rn’s bunny mascot, Lucky Bunnies symbolize curiosity, movement, and connection across chains. Minted on Rari Chain, this drop is a thank-you to the t3rn community, offering simple perks like future allowlists, raffles, and early access. With an accessible mint and proceeds supporting TRN buybacks, Lucky Bunny is about being part of the story — where culture and infrastructure grow together.

As multichain activity becomes a core part of Web3, simple asset transfers via bridges are no longer enough to support increasingly complex cross-chain workflows. While bridges effectively move assets between chains, they stop short of coordinating multi-step actions, leaving users exposed to partial executions, higher costs, and manual failure handling. t3rn addresses this gap by with cross-chain execution: an outcome-driven, atomic approach where all actions across multiple chains either complete together or fully revert. Rather than managing individual transactions, users define the desired result, and the protocol guarantees execution without leaving funds in unintended states. By operating above bridges and messaging protocols, t3rn provides execution-level interoperability, enabling safer, more reliable multichain applications as blockchain ecosystems continue to fragment and scale.
